Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and the operator of CFT, meaning Community-Funded Tournaments (the “Platform”). By signing in, entering a tournament, joining a waitlist, buying a subscription, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Additional rules shown on a tournament listing or at checkout form part of these Terms. If tournament-specific rules conflict with these Terms, these Terms control unless the listing clearly states otherwise.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and approve any payment.
• You must provide accurate information and use an account you are authorized to access. Google sign-in verifies the Google account used to access CFT; it does not verify tournament skill, age, ownership of any separate game account, or eligibility for a specific event.
• You are responsible for activity under your session and for keeping your devices and linked accounts secure.
• One person may not use multiple accounts to bypass entry limits, waitlist order, suspensions, geographic restrictions, or tournament rules.

3. How tournaments work

CFT organizes community-funded competitive events. Each tournament listing should identify its format, schedule, capacity, eligibility rules, entry price, funding method, prize structure, and any game-specific rules. The listing available when you enter is part of your agreement with CFT.

Entry and confirmation

• Submitting an entry request or joining a waitlist does not guarantee a confirmed place. Entry is confirmed only when the Platform expressly marks it confirmed and any required payment and eligibility checks are complete.
• Players must check in, join required lobbies or communication channels, and be ready by stated deadlines. Late or absent players may forfeit their place without a refund where the listing clearly disclosed that consequence.
• CFT may use reasonable eligibility, anti-fraud, identity, payment, and game-account checks before confirming entry or awarding a prize.

Community-funded prize pools

When a tournament is described as community-funded, player entry payments fund some or all of its prize pool. The tournament listing will state how the advertised or estimated prize is calculated and whether processing costs, refunds, taxes, chargebacks, or minimum participation requirements affect the final amount. No prize amount is guaranteed unless the listing expressly labels it guaranteed.

Changes, postponement, and cancellation

CFT may reasonably adjust schedules, brackets, servers, formats, or participant assignments to address technical failures, cheating, safety issues, low participation, or events outside its control. If CFT cancels a paid tournament before play begins, affected confirmed entrants will receive the refund or account credit stated in the listing, subject to applicable law. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or the official community channel.

4. Waitlists and VIP priority

When a tournament reaches capacity, eligible players may be placed on a waitlist. A waitlist position is provisional, may change, and is not a confirmed tournament entry.

• Displacement happens one-for-one: one qualifying VIP admission may remove one newest non-VIP waitlisted member.
• The displaced member should receive notice through the Platform or available account contact method and may rejoin at the end of the waitlist if enrollment is still open and the system permits.
• A displaced waitlisted member will not be charged an entry fee. If a provisional entry charge was already captured, it will be refunded according to the payment provider’s processing timeline.
• VIP priority does not override eligibility rules, deadlines, bans, payment requirements, technical capacity, geographic limits, or organizer safety decisions, and it does not guarantee tournament admission.
• CFT may pause VIP displacement close to a tournament’s start time or after brackets are locked to protect competitive integrity.

5. Monthly subscriptions

When CFT offers VIP or another paid membership, the price, billing interval, included benefits, and any trial or promotion will be shown before purchase. Unless checkout clearly says otherwise, a monthly subscription automatically renews each month and the payment method on file is charged until you cancel.

VIP benefits

VIP may include tournament waitlist priority and other benefits displayed at purchase. VIP is not a promise of entry, winnings, uninterrupted tournaments, or a particular number of events. Benefits are personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared or resold.

Cancellation

You may cancel through the account or billing controls identified at purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally remains effective through the end of the already-paid billing period. Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting an account or ceasing to use CFT does not itself cancel a subscription unless the billing flow expressly says it does.

Price and benefit changes

CFT may change future subscription prices or benefits with reasonable advance notice. Changes apply no earlier than a future renewal, unless immediate action is required for security, fraud prevention, or law. If you do not agree, cancel before the change takes effect.

Refunds and failed payments

Subscription charges are not prorated or refundable after a billing period begins except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may pause VIP benefits. Any legally required cancellation or refund right remains available.

6. Payments, virtual currency, and prizes

• Prices and prizes may be stated in U.S. dollars, Robux, another virtual currency, or another clearly identified unit. Virtual currency values can change and may be subject to third-party platform rules.
• Payment processing may be performed by a third-party provider under its own terms and privacy policy. You authorize the disclosed charge, taxes, and recurring billing terms when you complete checkout.
• You are responsible for taxes associated with prizes or earnings. CFT may require information reasonably necessary for lawful prize delivery and tax reporting.
• Prize eligibility may be forfeited for cheating, collusion, account sharing, payment fraud, chargebacks, sanctions restrictions, failure to complete verification, or violation of tournament rules.
• Estimated delivery times are not guarantees. Third-party game platforms, payment providers, moderation checks, and technical outages can delay delivery.

7. Player conduct and competitive integrity

You may not cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate results, collude, harass others, impersonate players or staff, submit false evidence, evade sanctions, interfere with servers, or use unauthorized software. CFT may review gameplay records, organizer observations, reports, and other relevant evidence.

Organizer decisions may be made to protect fair play and safety. Where an appeal process is offered, appeals must follow its deadline and evidence requirements. Repeated or serious violations may result in disqualification, prize forfeiture, suspension, or account termination.

8. Profile pictures and submitted content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant CFT a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, resize, and moderate that content only as needed to operate and promote the Platform or relevant tournament. You must have the rights to anything you upload and may not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit, or privacy-invasive content.

Custom profile pictures are resized and uploaded to CFT's hosting provider so they can appear with your profile across the Platform. CFT may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms.

9. Third-party services

CFT may interact with Google sign-in, Roblox experiences and services, hosting providers, payment processors, communication platforms, and other third parties. Their products are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. CFT is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by Google or Roblox unless expressly stated.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using CFT at any time, but you must separately cancel recurring subscriptions. CFT may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for violations, fraud risk, security threats, legal requirements, harm to the community, or prolonged service discontinuation. Where reasonable, CFT will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination remain effective, including payment obligations, prize reviews, intellectual-property terms, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” CFT does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free brackets, third-party availability, admission to any tournament, a particular prize pool, or winnings.

To the extent permitted by law, CFT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost virtual items, or loss caused by third-party platforms. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Changes, interpretation, and contact

CFT may update these Terms as the Platform, tournaments, subscriptions, or law change. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be reasonably communicated. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, checkout disclosures, and tournament-specific rules form the agreement governing the Platform.

Questions, cancellation problems, privacy requests, or legal notices should be submitted through the official CFT support channel identified by the Platform or the community through which you received access.
